Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Rep Breaks Silence on Their Coronation Plans

The coronation of King Charles III is scheduled for May 6, exactly one month from now. Media outlets and the internet alike have speculated for weeks about whether Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, Charles' youngest son, will travel from California to attend. On the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's decision, their representative issued the following statement to the BBC: They haven't made one yet. The BBC wrote that the spokesperson informed the publication that there was "no update on whether they were attending."

Harry and Meghan's non-choice comes not long after Harry was in London for a claim against the Day to day Mail's distributers, Related Papers Ltd, in late Walk.

He expressed his disapproval of the royal family's handling of the British press in his witness statement, claiming that the institution withheld information from him regarding the hacking of his phone by The Sun's publishers.

He stated, "The Institution was without a doubt withholding information from me for a long time about NGN's phone hacking [News Group Newspapers, the publisher of The Sun], and that has only become clear in recent years as I have pursued my own claim with different legal advice and representation." NGN is News Group Newspapers, which is the publisher of The Sun.

He went on to say that moving to the United States after stepping down from his senior royal family position was eye-opening. When I moved out of the UK in 2020, "it is not an exaggeration to say that the bubble burst in terms of what I knew," he shared.

Additionally, he stated that during his relationship with Meghan, he became "increasingly troubled by the [royal family's] approach of not taking action against the press in the wake of vicious persistent attacks on, harassment of, and intrusive, sometimes racist articles concerning Meghan." With the media, the family has a well-known policy of "never complain, never explain."

The illustrious family offered no remark on Harry's observer comment or its cases. When Harry and Meghan's rep said that Charles told them to leave their UK home, Frogmore Cottage, last month, the relationship between Harry and Charles got a lot of attention in the media.
